Dr. Luanne Freer is a board certified emergency physician from Bozeman, Montana. She is the immediate past president of the Wilderness Medical Society, and is the medical director for Yellowstone National Park. Luanne has worked as a volunteer physician in Nepal for the Himalayan Rescue Association since 1999, and in 2003, she founded the first-ever medical clinic at Mt. Everest base camp, which she continues to direct and staff every spring climbing season. They just launched their new site: http://www.everester.org.
