FULDA-CHALLENGE - HIGH PERFORMANCE ON SNOW AND ICE
Fulda Challenge 2008 Hardness testing at minus 40 degrees! Cold, ice and loneliness - the Yukon Territory is known for the fascinating landscape, the Indian Summer, but also for the inhumane temperatures in the winter. It is the perfect setting for one of the world's toughest extreme sports event - the Fulda Challenge, in 2008 for the eighth time.
This year, six teams against each other. Five teams each consist of a celebrity and a Participant, with the tough pre-divorce battles in Sulden has prevailed. This establishes a purely Canadian team that obviously hopes to exploit home advantage. Traditionally, the Challenge begins in the last week of January. Then it is for the participants really seriously: Physical excellence bring in up to minus 40 degrees! Since the freeze already beads of sweat on the forehead.
No other extreme sports event so requires a great diversity of the participants: Besides stamina, strength, will and endurance driving skills, especially team spirit asked. Only as a team can also cope with the strain.
