Mountain Hardwear Phantom 0 Degree Down Sleeping Bag

This is undoubtedly the sweetest down sleeping bag I've crawled into in a long time...besides my -35 Feathered Friend's bag. But for a 0 degree down bag, after some research, it is one of the lightest bags you will find, and most well-made. The Mountain Hardwear Phantom 0 degree down sleeping bag, for the money, has the best features for heat retention strategies, staying warm  via materials, lightness of gear as a unit, incredibly high loft, and it's so comfortable you WANT to go camping at 0 degrees.

The ergonomic draft collar is one of my favorite features. It is both comfortable and highly effective in keeping my heat in throughout the cold nights when any heat generated is precious. The draw cords were very easy to use and easy to secure.

The 3/4 zipper is a great asset both for heat retention and to increase lightness of the bag, and the hood and footbox fit perfectly around my head and allowed comfort for my feet during the night without too much mummification.

I have tested many down bags, from -40 to +30 and this is a serious, fully-featured lightweight comfortable down bag that I highly recommend. I tested the women's Phantom in the Swiss Alps and Colorado in the winter and love it. The only thing I can say about it is the loft is so great that you really have to work to get it into the lightweight stuff sack.
