Kelty Aria Bag
Kelty Aria Bag
I tested the Kelty Aria bag in airports from coast to coast and replaced my breifcase with the Aria bag for 2 months. What strikes me first about the Kelty Aria bag is the value and enjoyment I got for the price-point. For $60 USD.
Pockets For work and travel, having two big mesh outer slide-in pockets on either side gives me two easy to reach compartments to store the things I reach for most - a water bottle and my sunglasses. Sunglass cases and water bottles slide easily in and out of these pockets.
There are 3 main pockets in the interior, each the entire width of the bag. The front is a full zip pocket which is perfect to store things like wallet, passport, travel documents, etc. The back 2 pockets are differently shaped. One has a larger volume and is open like a folder which I found perfect to store my travel laptop or flat documents, books, etc. The rear pocket is a slight elastic entry to hold items in more tightly. The large center section is big enough to hold a down jacket or other work or travel items comfortable.
Shoulder Strap What I like about the shoulder strap is its adjustability. It is hard to get a bag that has a strap that fits someone very small (like myself) to the very tall. There is a sliding form-fitting pad large enough to totally pad cover my shoulder, and for that matter someone much taller than me. I wish there was a way to secure the pad so that each time I throw the bag over my head I don't have to place the pad but it's nice that it fits and is comfortable. I did notice the strap squeaks when there's a certain amount of weight in the bag which was annoying but I still love the bag and have given away my fancy breif case to the charity, Big Brothers, Big Sisters.
