Presented by Mountain to Mountain, the “Views of the Himalaya” event highlights the rich color and diversity of Nepal and Tibet from a variety of perspectives: porters, mountaineers, photojournalists and humanitarians.  The show includes a collection of art by Nepalese porters, photography from western mountaineers and photojournalists, and a collection of images from the dZi Foundation programs.

All photography will be generously donated by a group of photographers, which will allow Mountain to Mountain to raise money for our work with the dZi Foundation in Gudel, Nepal.  Through the Revitalize a Village project, Mountain to Mountain and the dZi Foundation are asking for your support to help the village of Gudel accomplish sustainable community development through educational initiatives focused on building schools, teacher training, healthcare, and income generation.

“Views of the Himalaya” will debut in Breckenridge, Colo., as well as travel to Vail, Colo., Boulder, Colo., and Bismarck, N.D.

About Mountain to Mountain

A mountain-based organization, Mountain to Mountain’s mission is to promote education and community development by creating ties with mountain communities at home and abroad. The organization supports education and indigenous community development projects in under-served mountain areas around the world. By coordinating outreach for our partner charities on the ground, we are committed to raising funds and awareness for the creation, growth and sustainability of community-driven projects in high altitude regions. Our mountain-based athletic and cultural events enable Mountain to Mountain to cultivate strong, grassroots connections here at home, which empower individuals to be catalysts for change in the global community.
