The Hero 3 is a very basic head cam. I wouldn't say it's the best quality out there but definitely more affordable than most cameras on the market. One thing about the Hero 3 is it comes with 4 unique mounting systems, which is more than any other head cam on the market. The instructions could be a little more clear but with enough fooling around with it I figured out how it works. The other thing is be prepared to buy a 2 GB sd card because it doesn't come with much built in memory. I give it a 3 out of 5 stars...
