The Burungdi Waterfalls of Nepal

Nepal is already known as Big Volume Paradise with warm water. But no one had really explored the waterfalls thoroughly which are obviously there.

One Paddlers paradise in Nepal is the burungdi Kohla, a small Creek which joins the known Modi Kohla in Biretanthi.
A series of Waterfalls just 2 hours outside of Pokhara, the Kajaker hang out of Nepal. Take a taxi in the morning, hike up for a day to Landruk and paddle the Modi Kohla (IV+) next day, stop in Birethanti, hike up the trail towards Tirkedungha and u will see the first 24 foot Waterfall.

The hike is easy and all the waterfalls have an obvious access, or at least some of the local kids will give you enough hints to find your way.

Paddle the rest of the Modi Kohla to the next suspension bridge and you had a fun weekend out in the Himalayas.
Beta: Four waterfalls
(IV+) 'The Crack'
24ft, tricky entrance in higher water
Best season: October to end May
(V) 'Stoney Joe's Fall'
26ft, one boof to make, water pushes against the sharp right hand rocks in higher water
Best season: September to July
(V+) 'No Seconds'
45ft, obvious route, very depending on the water flows. Needs high water!! Small pool, rocks in the curtain
Best season: September/October and June/July
Tirkedhunga
55ft, very difficult entrance, danger of hitting various rocks on your way in, slightly flushy pool, no rescue possible from above, 2 more easy steps (roughly 12ft) to kayak out. Village and bridge close by. This waterfall sits around 3 hrs hike further along the river then the previous 3 falls.
